Rethinking Retirement Program
A Guide for Making Choices
Retirement is probably one of the most significant career transitions we make.
Whether we continue working and contributing, slow down or stop is a big, very personal, decision and an even bigger transition. We are living healthier, longer lives and likely to live another 20 years in a “retirement” phase of life. Today it’s less about stopping and more about shifting to contributions and activities that are fulfilling. A longer, healthier post-career life is full of potential and it benefits from some thoughtful planning.
The Rethinking Retirement Program is a structured, straightforward approach, that focuses on four key areas of this transition…
Contribution - shift from a work to a contribution mindset
Wellbeing - thrive despite changes and challenges
Connection - broaden social networks + deepen relationships
Purpose - create a life of meaning for you
Through conversations, reflection and active planning we work together to design a new chapter that reflects who you are and what you want at this special time in life.
Rethinking Retirement Basic Program
An awareness building program that starts by completing the Rethinking Retirement Checkup© questionnaire and includes a coaching session to discuss the questionnaire results and your level of retirement readiness in the four pillars of Contribution, Wellbeing, Connection and Purpose.
Rethinking Retirement Life Design Program
This program includes all the elements of the Basic program plus additional one-on-one coaching sessions to help deepen your reflection and start building an action plan around the four core components of Contribution, Wellbeing, Connection and Purpose.
In both programs you’ll receive a copy of the book/workbook, Rethinking Retirement by Mary Morency and Jeannette Lalonde - a guide for discovering new perspectives and preparing for a flourishing retirement.
Most of us are not ready to stop creating and contributing. We have wisdom to share and a long list of things we’re curious about exploring. What are you looking forward to being and doing now?
